Conkle's Hollow - Ohio State Parks
Conkle's Hollow is
located in the Hocking Hills Region of Ohio and not far from Old
Man's Cave. There are two hiking areas - one that traverses
along the cliff edges and a second, handicap-accessible walkway
running along the bottom of the hollow. Each has unique
characteristics and offers views from completely different
angles. The upper provides awesome panoramic views of the
skyline and the lower offers a distinctly diverse array of rare
rock formations, recess caves and waterfalls.

The park at
Conkle's
Hollow is open
year-around, but it is closed from dusk to dawn. Dogs are also not
allowed in this area because it is a state nature preserve. Maps, brochures
and park information can be acquired at the park visitor center.
It is both handicap and stroller accessible on the lower hiking
trail. |
